a- Sam wants to play guitar in a band, but he can't play an instrument.

  Sam has to study music and how to play the guitar.

b- Jess doesn't know anybody at school, and he hates it.

  Jess has to meet people to make him feel better at school.

c- Tom wants to apologize to his brother but not in person.

    Tom needs to write a letter to his brother to apologize.
