yesterday I arrived at school late

by leaving my aunty's at half past eight  

10 minutes later, was standing in front the gate

Mr Benhallam in an irate state

He immediately took my school diary

and called right away my mommy and daddy

to tell them that their son/daughter wasn't early

while I was starting to feel uneasy

I ended up suspended for a whole week

Not to mention that my parents grounded me for two weeks

Plus I had an expose to do about polar bear

To conclude I'll never show up late again, I swear
